In a world where Independence and Individual gratification have become the order of the day… I sometimes wonder why and when did we as the human species, forget that we are in a symbiotic relationship with all living things around us, this includes other humans as well.
All natural things instinctively know their existence is to the benefit of a greater cause… yet, for some part of humanity, it is perfectly normal to only focus on themselves while trying to destroy those who might have progressed further.
It is then that I am reminded that this is also part of nature… we as humanity have progressed so far, we have but almost nullified most of our natural predators, thus natural law turned us onto ourselves. For you cannot know the joy of life if you have not endured the sadness of life… you cannot celebrate achievement if you have not lost.
Furthermore, you cannot appreciate the true gratitude of receiving, if you cannot cannot put everything into action the effort to deliver a result for the benefit of others. Herein lies the secret to achieving success – being of service to others in a way which is emotionally and physically rewarding to ourselves.
